Yamaha Motor has announced it will begin distribution in Europe of a selection of outboards produced by Torqueedo, a brand that has been part of the Yamaha Motor Group since April 2024.
Yamaha, with the availability of Torqeedo electric outboards, now offers its customers the opportunity to further reduce their carbon footprint, as part of its commitment to promoting a carbon-neutral future on the water with a range of innovative technologies and alternative fuels.
In addition to Italy, a select range of Torqeedo outboards is now available in the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, Spain and Portugal.
Yamaha’s Torqueedo range includes the Travel Ultralight (1-3 hp equivalent), the Travel Family (2-5 hp equivalent), ideal for smaller boats up to 2 tonnes, and the more powerful Cruise model (6-25 hp equivalent) for larger boats up to 12 tonnes.
