{"id":256635,"date":"2023-08-25T08:15:12","date_gmt":"2023-08-25T08:15:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/confindustrianautica.net\/the-wider-moonflower-72-continues-to-grow-in-marghera\/"},"modified":"2023-08-25T12:58:42","modified_gmt":"2023-08-25T12:58:42","slug":"the-wider-moonflower-72-continues-to-grow-in-marghera","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/confindustrianautica.net\/en\/the-wider-moonflower-72-continues-to-grow-in-marghera\/","title":{"rendered":"The Wider Moonflower 72 continues to grow in Marghera"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Wider&#8217;s Superyacht Hub in Marghera, construction continues on the Wider Moonflower 72, designed under the partnership of Wider, helmed by Marcello Maggi &#8211; owner of controlling company W-Fin Sarl, which holds 100% of Wider&#8217;s capital, and Nauta Design.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scheduled for delivery in 2025, the Moonflower 72 is the first full-custom project following Wider&#8217;s recapitalisation. The model is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and equipped with a unique engine set-up.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Moonflower 72 is in fact fitted with Wider&#8217;s hybrid propulsion system, consisting of two variable speed generators supplied by MAN Energy Solutions of 1,860 kW each, combined with an approximately 1 MW\/h sodium nickel battery from FZSoNick. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This system, which allows energy to always be at the lowest consumption point, reduces CO2 emissions by around 20 per cent.
