What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
Building on the success of the M8 catamaran, Prestige Yachts has launched a new version of its flagship model. Introducing the new M8 Evo: a motor catamaran measuring 19.98 metres in length and 8.85 metres in beam, offering a total of approximately 270 square metres of living space. This is comparable to that of an 85-foot monohull. In addition to its spacious layout, the M8 Evo’s catamaran configuration reduces fuel consumption and emissions by 50%.
Among the distinctive features of the new M8 Evo are the long hull windows and the flybridge (covering an area of approximately 50 square metres), which has been enlarged compared to the original M8 and now spans the entire width of the yacht.
The flybridge is thus transformed into a veritable living room at sea. Also new are the hardtop and the layout of the main deck, featuring a larger galley, an integrated bar, a centrally positioned dining area and, for the first time ever, a central helm station.
Another distinctive feature of the M8 Evo is that the owner’s suite has private access from the flybridge. There are numerous interior layout options, with either 4 or 5 cabins.
The yacht is powered by two MAN engines, each producing 730 hp.
