What’s new at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show

Introducing the Schenker Watermakers interface revolution for chartplotters

For even simpler and more interactive watermaker management, Italian company Schenker Watermakers is presenting a new interface system at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show. The new interface system is compatible with all the world’s leading manufacturersof onboard electronic instruments

Conventional multifunction displays (MFDs) are integrated with a proprietary app that offers unprecedented services and instant, centralised control of the watermaker installed on the boat.

The system developed by Schenker Watermakers, which is compact and easy to install, communicates between the Schenker control box computer and the multifunction display on the bridge via RS485 protocol, while the connection between the interface and the multifunction display is via an Ethernet connection.

The new Schenker Watermakers interface can be retrofitted to all latest generation chartplotters (Simrad, B&G, Lowrance, Garmin, Raymarine) compatible with HTML5 applications.
