What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
With the distinctive character derived from Wally’s signature design, the new wallypower50X makes its debut at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show, where the outboard engines add exhilarating performance and a sporty driving experience to a model that bridges the gap between the wallypower and wallytender ranges.
With the unmistakable silhouette that characterises the wallypower line, the new wallypower560X (15.40 metres long and 4.50 metres wide at its widest point) takes its place alongside the famous 58X.
The design is clean and simple, with a vertical bow and a hardtop sheltering the living area. The cockpit, featuring fold-down bulwarks that maximise available space, is laid out with two sundecks (which conceal two storage compartments) and a convenient central passageway leading to the aft platform. The gangways leading to the forward sundeck are equally convenient.
Beneath the hardtop are sofas and seating, along with the two armchairs at the helm station, which features a dashboard fitted with the latest electronic equipment.
At the stern of the WallyPower 560X are four 500 hp Mercury Racing engines, capable of exceeding 50 knots with a range of 180 miles. Alternatively, four 400 hp engines can be fitted for a maximum speed of 48 knots.
