What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
A perfect blend of innovation and ergonomics, the Fountaine Pajot FP48, a catamaran measuring almost 15 metres (14.43 metres in length and 7.90 metres in maximum beam), builds on the legacy of the successful Tanna 47 and is available in three versions, ranging from three to four cabins, offering a total of up to 10 berths.
Among the FP48’s distinctive features, the saloon and cockpit (where there is a table that seats eight people) are connected by a 3-metre-wide sliding door, while the two spacious outdoor areas on the flybridge and at the bow are furnished with sun loungers.
Also on the flybridge, a second table for eight people sits alongside the helm station on the starboard side, to which all the controls are routed. The 134 m² sail area is easy to handle. In the cockpit, the centrally located galley acts as a link between the interior and exterior spaces.
From the saloon, bathed in light from the deckhouse windows, the Full Maestro version provides access to the suite occupying the starboard hull or to the two double cabins in the port hull.
In the Classic Maestro layout, a hallway/dressing room is added to the owner’s cabin, while in the Quintet version, a single cabin in the starboard hull is added to the two double cabins in the two hulls.
The Fountaine Pajot FP48 is powered by two 45 hp auxiliary engines.
