What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
The owner’s suite connects directly to its own private terrace aboard the new YOT 53 from YOT Power Catamarans, a brand that operates under the Catana Group. The innovative model will be making its debut at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show with its cutting-edge solutions for on-board comfort.
The YOT 53 (16.20 metres long by 7.25 metres wide) expands the YOT Power Catamarans range and builds on the success of the YOT 36 and YOT 41 outboard models. As well as allowing the owner to access the outdoor terrace directly from their cabin on the lower deck, another stand-out feature of the YOT 53 is the overhead door – an access point that is practically concealed from view – connecting the saloon to the cockpit, which is fitted with folding side panels.
This way, the entire area becomes a single, large living space that bridges the gap between indoors and outdoors, thanks also to the galley having been moved to the bow of the saloon. This layout creates a markedly spacious area, neatly delineated by a C-shaped unit.
On the flybridge, in addition to the helm station, is a sunbathing area, a cocktail table and a barbecue area; all sheltered by a hardtop offering panoramic views. At the stern, a hydraulic platform and a telescopic crane simplify the launching and recovery of the tender.
There are two interior configurations for the YOT 53: the three-cabin version and the four-cabin version. There are also two engine options: a pair of Yanmar inboard engines rated at either 440 hp or 550 hp. Maximum speed: 23 knots.
