The first Riva 96′ Argo Super has been launched

The first Riva 96′ Argo Super, a design that stems from the close collaboration between Officina Italiana Design and the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department, was launched at the Riva shipyard in La Spezia, the production site dedicated to constructing models ranging in length from 70 to 130 feet.

“It is not history that makes a brand iconic; what makes a brand iconic is the courage to reinvent, generation after generation. For over 180 years now, Riva has set the standard for timeless beauty in luxury yachting. The new Riva 96’ Argo Super continues this tradition with a yacht that is unmistakably Riva: innovative, liveable and with an unprecedented connection to the sea,” commented Stassi Anastassov, Chief Executive Officer of the Ferretti Group, who was present during the launch.

The new Riva 96’ Argo Super is 28.79 metres long with a maximum beam of 6.50 metres. Among her most innovative features are a redesigned stern and beach area, which enhance a much closer connection with the sea, a new day head on the main deck, and a flybridge that offers a mobile bar and tables enriched by mahogany tops.

When it comes to the main deck, the saloon is available in two configurations, and the first Riva 96’ Argo Super features a dining area aft and a lounge forward. The full-beam owner’s suite is bathed in natural light thanks to extensive glazing. On the lower deck, there are three guest cabins, including a full-beam VIP cabin aft.

The first Riva 96’ Argo Super is powered by two MTU 12V 2000 M96X engines, each delivering 2,000 Cv, and is equipped with Seakeeper NG18 and NG10 gyroscopic stabilisers, a Watchit anti-collision system, a manoeuvring aid system, Xenta’s X-AID virtual anchor and a stern thruster.
