What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
Cranchi Yachts is breathing new life into its successful A32 day cruiser, unveiling the new A32 O/B with outboard motorisation at the world-class showcase of the 66th Genoa International Boat Show, a model that enhances the versatility of a boat designed for dynamic and informal use.
The Cranchi A32 O/B features a hull designed by Aldo Cranchi, while the project is the result of a close collaboration between the Cranchi Research and Development Centre and Christian Grande.
The Cranchi A32 O/B (10.21 metres long and 3.05 metres wide) remains true to the original concept, offering spaces for socialising and a fluid layout for movement on board. The design of the stern platform is new, featuring side extensions to accommodate the outboard motors, which are protected by a black steel roll bar fitted with a small carbon fibre spoiler for the stern light and a hook for water skiing.
At the stern, lowering the side bulwark creates a beach area proper. The seating and sunbathing area are spacious and comfortable. In the cockpit, there is a 35-litre fridge (a second 90-litre fridge is located in the cabin).
The dashboard has been redesigned for the new engine configuration, featuring a 15-inch ultrawide Garmin display and a second 15-inch Garmin display acting as a chartplotter.
Below deck, there is an open-plan layout with a convertible dinette in the bow, a bathroom and a berth. Engine specification: two Mercury V10 engines, 350 hp each.
