What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
Free Charter, the Italian importer of boats from the US shipyard Cruisers Yachts, is unveiling the 38 VTR for the first time at the 66th edition of the Genoa International Boat Show: a day cruiser with an innovative design and a hybrid redan hull.
Measuring 12.80 metres in length and 3.60 metres in beam, the 38 VTR features a fully customisable cockpit and, below deck, a convertible sleeping area and a complete bathroom.
The standard deck layout, which features a section of the gunwale on the port side that opens out onto the sea, includes a sofa with a table behind the helm station, which includes three seats.
This layout can be adapted to include an additional sofa, or – also behind the central sofa – a large sundeck beneath which there is a spacious storage compartment.
Below deck is a bathroom and a double berth in the bow. Another option is to convert the storage compartment into a second cabin with two berths. The boat is powered by two outboard engines delivering a maximum power rating of 550 hp.
