A 45-metre custom superyacht, the new Tankoa TX450, which was launched on 31 August from Tankoa Yachts’ shipyard in Genoa in the presence of her owner, a Middle Eastern national and seasoned client who has a history of yacht ownership.

The Tankoa TX450 is the result of a joint effort between the owner and Cassetta Yacht Designers, who were responsible for the interior and exterior design, while the naval architecture was penned by NAMES and the engineering signed by inNave, in collaboration with Tankoa’s Technical Department.
Among the most distinctive features of the new Tankoa TX450 are the inclusion of an extra deck and a wider beam compared to the original model, spacious living areas on the upper deck and on the main deck, which houses the owner’s suite and the guest cabins. There are ten berths in total.
Other stand-out features of the Tankoa TX450 include an enclosed veranda on the bridge, a gym, a wellness and spa area, and, on the lower deck, an additional convertible cabin.
The new Tankoa TX450 is fitted with a full hybrid propulsion system. Her maximum speed is 15 knots, her cruising speed 14 knots. While at anchor and at night, the system enables energy self-sufficiency via her battery system and full-electric navigation for several hours.
