What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
There is a plethora of innovative features defining the new Ferretti Yachts 720, a model scheduled to make its debut at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show, where the shipyard will be showcasing to the world its optimisations and innovative stylistic solutions visible in the exterior design penned by Filippo Salvetti and the interior design by Ideaeitalia.
With an overall length of 22.50 metres and a maximum beam of 5.60 metres, the Ferretti Yachts 720 stands out for the large windows in both the saloon and the owner’s cabin, as well as for the large hardtop that provides shade over the flybridge.
Another key distinctive feature is the line of the gunwales, which, running from the aft cockpit to the bow lounge, emphasises the connection between the interior and exterior spaces.
On the main deck, a sliding glass door separates the dining/living area from the galley and wheelhouse, which is furnished with Frau armchairs. The lower deck houses the owner’s cabin, situated amidships and spanning the full beam. The bow houses a VIP cabin and two twin cabins while the stern includes the crew quarters.
The standard engine configuration for the Ferretti Yachts 720 comprises two MAN V8 1220 engines, delivering a maximum speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots. With two MAN V12 1400 engines, these rise to 28 and 24 knots respectively.
