What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
One of the models that best embodies the philosophy of the Palm Beach Motor Yachts shipyard, the Palm Beach 50 is being unveiled at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show. The Palm Beach 50 is 17.18 metres long and 4.80 metres wide; the mode offers a cruiser layout with lines inspired by lobster boats and is built using modern technologies with a strong focus on lightness.
The cockpit, with a section of the starboard gunwale that opens to provide access to the aft platform, features a spacious sofa and forms the yacht’s outdoor social area. In the saloon, the galley runs along the starboard side; to the left is the dinette. The helm station is also on the starboard side, with the companionway to the cabin alongside it.
Below deck, the owner’s cabin forward and a twin cabin with bunk beds are served by a bathroom with a separate shower.
The standard engine configuration for the Palm Beach 50 comprises two Volvo IPS 650S units, each producing 480 hp, delivering a top speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots. An optional configuration features two Volvo D6 units, each producing 480 hp, with shaft drive.
