What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
Barcando, the exclusive importer and distributor in Italy of sailing catamarans from the US shipyard Aquila Catamarans, presents the new Aquila 45 Sail, making its debut at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show.
Measuring 14.38 metres in length with a maximum beam of 7.77 metres, the new Aquila 45 Sail maximises space, functionality, sailing comfort and quality to ensure the utmost enjoyment of life on board, as seen in the innovative fixed foredeck, which significantly expands the space on board, and in the large aft cockpit.
The interiors, with the living area housing the saloon and galley, are flooded with natural light streaming in through the large windows surrounding the deckhouse. As for the layout, two options are available: a 3- or 4-cabin configuration, each with a private entrance. Of particular note is the access from the forward cockpit to the flybridge.
The total sail area is 125.6 square metres, while the planned engine configuration comprises two 50 hp Volvo Penta Saildrive units.
