What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
Versatile and capable of adapting to any setting, a veritable “world boat”, is how Rio Yachts describes its Sport Coupé 50, which is making its debut at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show. The Sport Coupé 50, 15.24 metres long (type-approved length 14.35 metres) and 4.30 metres wide, was developed in response to the growing demand for a truly liveable boat, featuring an enclosed saloon and ideal for long-range cruising.
Designed by Marino Alfani, the Sport Coupé 50 features a sporty, sleek and fast silhouette, while maintaining excellent qualities for year-round living, in all latitudes.
The deck layout is an innovative hybrid solution combining a walkaround design with a gunwale-equipped deck, while the forward cockpit features integrated benches. At the stern, the tender garage can be configured to accommodate a jet-powered tender, complete with a hoisting and launching system.
The Sport Coupé 50, which can accommodate 14 people, offers six berths and two bathrooms and, continuing with a feature much appreciated by customers, is fitted with a shaft drive. The standard engine configuration comprises two 600 hp Cummins engines, with the option to fit two 715 hp Cummins engines, thereby achieving a maximum speed of 35 knots.
