What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
A boat that embodies a more pronounced contemporary style without compromising the authentic character of the Sorrento gozzo, this is the latest model Apreamare is presenting at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show this year: the Gozzo 42 (12.80 metres in length, 4.20 metres in beam).
The Gozzo 42 is the result of a close collaboration between Cataldo Aprea and Marco Casali (Too Design) for design and styling. Umberto Tagliavini (Marine Design), in collaboration with the shipyard’s Technical Department, is responsible for the naval architecture.
Among the distinctive features of the new Gozzo 42 are the sleekly designed hardtop, which allows for the glass windscreen to be fully enclosed if required, and – in keeping with Apreamare’s tradition – the high level of liveability on board. The cockpit features a 2-metre-long aft sundeck, and the C-shaped sofa can accommodate eight people.
The interior layout includes the owner’s cabin, which can be separated from the living area; the latter features an optional second cabin aft.
The Apreamare Gozzo 42 can be fitted with a shaft drive or a Volvo Penta IPS system, with top speeds ranging from 27 to 36 knots and cruising speeds between 22 and 27 knots.
