Over 55 leading brands from the industry and more than 100 boats. These are, together with 30 exhibitors, the key figures of the second edition of Boat Days, an event organised by Consorzio Mare Lazio and dedicated to the yachting sector and the sea scheduled to take place from 24th to 26th March and from 31st March to 2nd April at the Marina di Santa Marinella, less than an hour’s drive from Rome.
“The second edition of Boat Days represents an important opportunity for the development of yachting across the territory,” emphasised Piero Formenti, Vice President of Confindustria Nautica – the Italian Marine Industry Association, which, as was the case for the 2022 edition, will be acting once again as official patron of Boat Days. “With its patronage, the Italian Marine Industry Association intends to support and enhance all those events that stand out as valuable realities for the development of the sector and the marine economy. Creating synergy is essential for the promotion and support of the entire yachting industry“.
Also for the second edition, admission to Boat Days is free and the public will be able to discover and try out boats and RIBs at sea on a larger exhibition area compared to the first edition.
Boats Day 2023, which along with that of the Italian Marine Industry Association, Confindustria Nautica, boasts the patronage of the Lazio Region, Coni (the Italian National Olympic Committee), the Coast Guard, Sport and Health, the Municipality of Santa Marinella, and the Italian department of the European Parliament – Office in Italy, is part of the initiatives of Consorzio Mare Lazio, which also include the agreement signed with the Istituto Nautico Colonna (Rome’s Colonna Nautical Institute) for students to take part in alternating work-school courses at the shipyards and yachting operators associated with the consortium in the Lazio region.
