Organization and Management Model for the Prevention of Offences

Organization and Management Model for the Prevention of Offences pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 231/2001 at Confindustria Nautica

Confindustria Nautica has approved and keeps in force its own Organization and Management Model for the Prevention of Offences, aimed at defining and regulating the framework of organizational and management measures adopted by the Association in order to prevent and hinder unethical conduct and conduct that may entail the commission of offences pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 231/2001 by individuals belonging to its organizational structure.

The Model adopted by Confindustria Nautica pursuant to and for the purposes of Articles 5, 6 and 7 of Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, as well as Article 30 of Legislative Decree No. 81/2008, is based on the identification of the Association’s organizational characteristics and defines the general principles governing the performance of its activities with reference to offence prevention. This is achieved through the description of the areas deemed sensitive and the related prevention protocols, in accordance with the flows identified within the Risk Assessment process. An integral part of the Model is the Code of Ethics of Confindustria Nautica.

The Model, inspired by the fundamental principles of Transparency, Fairness, Impartiality, Traceability and Segregation of duties, places primary importance on staff training and on the dissemination of these fundamental principles.

Confindustria Nautica requires all those who, in any capacity, operate with the Association to comply with the provisions of the Code of Ethics and the fundamental principles of the Model, insofar as they are applicable to them.

Confindustria Nautica has appointed its own Supervisory Body pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, identified as Attorney Tommaso E. Romolotti.
