On 4 June, Nautor Swan launched the new Swan 80, the first model in the Swan Maxi range. The new Swan 80 bears the signatures of Germán Frers for the naval architecture, Lucio Micheletti for the exterior design and Misa Poggi for the interior design.
Among the stand-out technical features of the new Swan 80 are the epoxy fibreglass sandwich construction with a foam core and carbon fibre reinforcements, twin rudders and various keel configurations: deep fixed, shallow fixed and telescopic.
Clean lines, a deckhouse with a markedly sleek profile and an unbroken deck profile, while the interior layout can be adapted from configurations designed for cruising to spaces geared towards hospitality or more open, social areas.
The layout of the first Swan 80 features the owner’s suite in the bow, a VIP cabin and two guest cabins in the stern, as well as crew quarters with independent access.
