What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
Quick Group, an international leader in the manufacture and marketing of marine accessories and components, is presenting two major innovations at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show. The first is the expansion of its range of QSY electric manoeuvring thrusters; the second is a new control interface called Pacific, which enhances QCentric, the technology platform on which Quick Group’s products are based.
The range of QSY electric manoeuvring thrusters now includes solutions ranging from the 12-volt BT QSY 140-50, capable of generating 50 kgf of thrust with a 140 mm tunnel, to the 48-volt BT QSY 300-350, which achieves 350 kgf of thrust with a 300 mm tunnel. Also new is a 215 mm nozzle, which bridges the gap between the 185 mm and 250 mm versions, thus offering a solution for vessels ranging from 7-metre dayboats to 30-metre superyachts.
Quick Group has also developed a new control interface called Pacific. Designed to work with all the ranges of manoeuvring propellers offered by Quick Group, Pacific has been optimised for the QSY series but can integrate seamlessly with third-party manoeuvring and control systems, including established EM platforms such as Volvo Penta, Mercury Marine and Xenta.
The new Pacific control interface forms part of QCentric, the cutting-edge technology platform on which Quick Group’s products are based. QCentric represents a shared technological framework that will support the future evolution of Quick systems and drive a new level of integration between the Group’s various product families.
