LIGHTS OVER THE SEA: 600 GUESTS MARK THE RETURN OF THE GENOA INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW EXHIBITORS’ EVENING

Music, guests and a drone show over the sea to celebrate the event’s community

Genoa, 2 October 2026 – More than 600 guests attended “Lights Over The Sea” last night, the evening dedicated to exhibitors that brought the opening day of the 66th Genoa International Boat Show to a close on the Blue Pavilion Terrace.

Organised by Confindustria Nautica and the Genoa International Boat Show, with the support of the Genoa Chamber of Commerce and in partnership with Trussardi, Lifestyle & Fashion Partner, and Freccianera Franciacorta, Wine Partner, the evening marked the return of an event dedicated to the exhibitor community, which had been suspended during the pandemic. It was an opportunity to come together beyond the strictly professional setting of the event and celebrate the opening of the Genoa International Boat Show, transforming the terrace overlooking the quays into a place for socialising, music and entertainment.

Guests at the evening included the personalities brought together by Trussardi: actress Rocío Muñoz Morales, singer Malika Ayane, entrepreneur and former footballer Claudio Marchisio, actor Giacomo Fadda and presenter and influencer Veronica Ruggeri. The musical programme featured Kety Fusco with her live harp performance, accompanied by a DJ set from Nausica.

Lights Over The Sea concluded with a drone show created by Alumée, conceived as a visual narrative of the history, identity and future of the Boat Show. In the sky above the quays, lights and images welcomed the 66th edition of the Genoa International Boat Show and highlighted the international scope of its community, before evoking the themes of design, innovation, sustainability and excellence. At the heart of the story were the exhibitors themselves and their sense of belonging to an event where the entire boating industry comes together, exchanges ideas and builds its future.
