What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
Deep Horizon is the name of the new special edition of the Invictus ST550 that Invictus Yachts – part of the Aschenez Group, which also includes the Capoforte and Marcopolo brands – is showcasing at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show.
The ST550 Deep Horizon, the result of a collaboration between Atelier Invictus and designer Fabio Rotella, showcases the ST550’s customisation potential through bespoke aesthetic and functional solutions.
The underlying concept of the ST550 Deep Horizon is quiet luxury – an idea of understated luxury that eliminates the superfluous to highlight the proportions, materials and quality of the space. Central to this concept are natural wood finishes, tactile surfaces and exclusive fabrics developed specifically for this layout.
Measuring 16.87 metres in length with a maximum beam of 5.04 metres, the Invictus ST550 was designed by Christian Grande and is the flagship of Invictus Yachts. Notable features include the living area at the bow of the main deck, the folding sides, the gangway flush with the cockpit which facilitates boarding, and the spacious swim platform, which can be lowered below water level to allow for easy launching of the 2.8-metre tender.
Below deck, with its long hull windows, there is a full-beam master cabin, a VIP cabin, two bathrooms, a living area that can be converted into a third cabin, and a galley which, if required, replaces the standard galley on the main deck. The yacht is powered by either two Volvo Penta IPS 800s or two Volvo Penta IPS 950s.
