What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
Ingemar has once again been confirmed as a technical partner for the 66th Genoa International Boat Show, an edition which has seen a 4% increase in the size of the in-water exhibition area and the return of large superyachts.
At the Ingemar stand (Blue Pavilion, Upper Level, Stand TE12/TF11), visitors can discover the latest innovations in marina design, where Ingemar’s solutions have made it possible to easily reconfigure water spaces by moving and adapting floating structures to changing mooring requirements.
The techniques developed for the recreational boating sector have also been applied in very different contexts: from major public works and waterfront regeneration projects, such as in Bari, to wave protection measures in Venice, right through to global sporting events like the America’s Cup in Naples.

In Venice, in the basin facing the San Marco Square and the Doge’s Palace, Ingemar’s floating wave-breakers have been used to create a waterline wave-breaker barrier to dampen the wave motion generated by the constant passage of boats.
In the Bay of Naples, Ingemar’s reinforced heavy-duty series of floating jetties are in operation at Nisida for the boats taking part in the preliminary regattas of the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup, whilst in Bagnoli, the floating structures serving the seven teams that will compete for the America’s Cup next year are currently being installed.
