What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
With cutting-edge displays, fishfinders, chartplotters, navigation software, and much more, Furuno will be presenting its latest solutions for electronic navigation and safety at sea at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show.
New products range from the new TZTE and TZMAP multifunction displays to the NavNet TZTouchXL series of multifunction displays: a revamped, more intuitive user interface for total control of the vessel.
Other new products include the MCU006 and MCU006H remote control units, the TruEcho CHIRPTM FCV-600 & FCV-800 echo sounders and the FR-12 radar displays, equipped with the latest technology, such as the Risk Visualiser – a new function that provides visual information on potential collision areas and the movement of all surrounding vessels.
The round-up continues with the SFD-1010 & SFD-1012 Flex Function Displays, the GP-1971F chartplotter/fishfinder and the new 24-inch Hatteland monitors, which offer high-quality, custom solutions for the marine equipment market.
Rounding off the showcase of Furuno’s new products are the TimeZero Professional navigation software and Ocean Signal emergency systems: a comprehensive range of Cat I and Cat II EPIRBs, SARTs, radar transponders and portable GMDSS VHF radios for complete and efficient radio stations.
Once again this year at the Genoa International Boat Show, Furuno will be organising sessions dedicated to the Furuno Academy at its Stand No. TS10 on the Upper Floor of the Blue Pavilion, where topics such as acoustics, detection, fishing techniques and the use of Furuno solutions will be discussed.
The sessions will be led by Prostaff Marco Valerio Alessandrini, alongside Ambassadors Riccardo Castellaro and Martina Marsiglia, who will share practical experiences and technical insights.
