Construction continues at CRN’s yards on the 70-metre (11-metre beam) Project Thunderball, designed by Dutch firm Vripack Yacht Design for the general plans, naval architecture and exterior design, while the interiors and outdoor social areas are the work of Nauta Design, the Milan-based studio helmed by Luca Pedol and Massimo Gino. The entire project is achieved with the construction expertise of CRN and the Ferretti Group Superyacht Division. Y.CO is representing the owner and leading the project management team.

Project Thunderball features 5 decks, a gross tonnage of 1,100 GT and can accommodate 12 guests in the owner’s suite and five VIP cabins, as well as 15 crew members in 9 cabins.

Project Thunderball offers an Energy Storage System, with generators and battery packs that allow for silent operation at anchor, contributing to a substantial reduction in fuel consumption.

Powered by two MAN V12-1213kW engines, Project Thunderball will reach a maximum speed of 15.5 knots with a cruising speed of 12 knots. The launch is scheduled for spring 2026.
