Cartello’s new entries boast peak innovation, cutting-edge technology and sustainability

What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show

Cartello, following celebrations for the company’s 40th anniversary last year at the same Boat Show’s previous edition, will be taking part in the upcoming 65th edition of the Genoa International Boat Show, bringing with it a showcase of brand-new products and, perhaps most important of all, a company vision that is becoming increasingly oriented towards technological innovation, sustainability and operational efficiency across the world of boating.

Among the new products that will be on show this year are the Orizon, an advanced automation system developed by Cartello and designed to combine cutting-edge technology from throughout the field of telematics, Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things. The Orizon, which reduces operating costs by up to 35%, allows, among other functionalities, real-time monitoring of engines and onboard systems, predictive diagnostics and the automatic transmission of alarms to the nearest Orizon partner.

Distributed exclusively by Cartello, another new entry is the innovative e-Sail Drive from Yanmar, which combines efficiency, autonomy and reliability, integrating perfectly with the most modern on-board configurations. While another design from Yanmar to be showcased will be the SD150, the saildrive for sailing boats from 50 to 60 feet in length that provides compact and efficient installation, increased performance with the Flexofold folding propeller and, thanks to this propeller system, less resistance than typical shaftline systems.

These innovations are complemented by Cartello’s impactful initiative to adopt HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) fuel as a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels like diesel. Compatible with the latest Yanmar engines, HVO allows a significant reduction in CO2 emissions, reaching a reduction of up to 90%, without the need for technical modifications.
