What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
A modern and sophisticated design for a yacht at the cutting edge of naval architecture, the Gran Turismo 50 is Beneteau’s new flagship, which – just a few months after the launch of the Gran Turismo 35 and the Gran Turismo 40 – is making her debut at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show, confirming the shipyard’s ambition to open a new chapter in its history.
The new Gran Turismo 50, measuring 15.95 metres in length and 4.48 metres in beam, redefines the standards of comfort at sea with generous outdoor spaces and a direct connection to the marine environment: both distinctive features aboard a yacht on which it takes just a few button presses to switch from the express cruiser configuration to that of a refined and comfortable space, in the spirit of the shipyard’s “Villa Living” philosophy, while at anchor.
With a low-slung deckhouse that streamlines the profile and, aft, a beach area of unusual dimensions thanks to the two fold-down side terraces, the Gran Turismo 50 features a hull designed by the legendary naval architect Bill Dixon, which is fuel-efficient and ensures the highest standards of comfort.
The interior layout comprises the owner’s cabin with its en-suite bathroom and two further cabins – one double and one single – served by a second bathroom.
The planned engine configuration comprises two 480 hp engines. In addition to the standard version, which is highly customisable, the Beneteau Gran Turismo 50 is also available in the Alpine Limited Edition, featuring a navy blue hull, with the interior and exterior finished in a navy blue and black colour scheme, and a helm station fitted with a steering wheel boasting an original and exclusive sporty design.
