Azimut Yachts’ new Magellano 27M redefines the Voyager philosophy

What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show

Azimut Yachts is unveiling the new Magellano 27M at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show. The Magellano 27M is the third model in the series and was designed by Jarkko Jämsén, who created its sculpted and elegant lines, while the interiors were designed by AMDL CIRCLE in collaboration with Michele de Lucchi.

The Magellano 27M is 26.22 metres long and 6.85 metres wide and is fitted with a Dual Mode semi-displacement hull developed by P.L. Ausonio Naval Architecture in collaboration with Azimut’s R&D Department, designed for long-range cruising.

A distinctive and defining feature of the new Magellano 27M is the main deck, conceived as an open-air loggia overlooking the sea. Thanks in part to the light-coloured wooden elements – which evoke Mediterranean pergolas and patios – a space is created that bridges the gap between the exterior and the interior.

The new Magellano 27M offers five double guest cabins and two crew cabins. The standard engine configuration comprises two 1,400 hp MAN engines, delivering a maximum speed of 21 knots. Alternatively, two 1,650 hp MAN engines are available, delivering a maximum speed of 23–24 knots. The cruising speed is 16–18 knots.
