What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
Cantieri Capelli is returning to the fibreglass open-class market with the Alma 27, which will be making its debut at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show. Measuring 8.68 metres in overall length and 2.54 metres in beam, the new Alma 27 sees Cantieri Capelli teaming up with Yamaha Motor Italia to offer a contemporary take on the Mediterranean day cruiser.
A notable feature is the construction which made use of infusion moulding and PET instead of PVC; furthermore, the boat’s structure is reinforced with a special lattice bonded to each of the various sections.
There is ample space on board. At the bow is a sundeck, while the cockpit features a large full-beam C-shaped sofa with a matching table. The helm station, protected by a wraparound windscreen, provides a double seat, and the dashboard is fitted for two 12-inch displays. Among the optional extras is the T-Top Wide Body, onto which solar panels can be mounted.
The interior is laid out as an open-plan space, featuring a double berth in the bow, wall-mounted cupboards and a toilet compartment. The headroom is 1.85 metres. Engine options range from a single 350 hp FB engine to a twin 200 hp set.
