What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
Yamaha is taking part in the 66th Genoa International Boat Show with its range of outboard motors, from portable models to the latest-generation V6 and V8 engines, designed to deliver high performance, fuel efficiency and advanced digital integration.
Alongside traditional propulsion, Yamaha is presenting Torqeedo, which offers a range of electric outboard motors characterised by refined aesthetics, robust construction and sustainability. The motors are equipped with GPS and an onboard computer, smart displays and real-time monitoring of speed, power and range, while the use of corrosion-resistant materials ensures a long service life.
The range covers power outputs from 3 to 25 hp, divided into the Travel (3–5 CV) and Cruise (6–25 CV) ranges. Also on display is the Helm Master EX wireless system, which offers integrated boat control with features such as a joystick, autopilot and assisted manoeuvring modes, designed to simplify mooring and navigation.
Yamaha is also presenting the Empowered by Yamaha packages, including two new models from Cantieri Capelli: the ALMA 21 and the TEMPEST 900 CHASE, a new offering for the 9-metre segment, characterised by a spacious and functional deck layout and a generous, sheltered helm console, which make the most of the integration between the hull and propulsion system.
Rounding off the Yamaha range is the new-generation WaveRunner 2027, spearheaded by the WaveBlaster and the CrossWave – the largest model ever produced by Yamaha: it offers space for four passengers, a fully walk-on bow and deck, as well as a substantial storage capacity of 310 litres for long days on the water.
