What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
The Saxdor 460 GTC is the new flagship model that Saxdoritalia, importer of the Finnish shipyard Saxdor, will be unveiling at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show. The Saxdor 460 GTC, measuring 14.40 metres in length and 4.11 metres at its widest point, can alter its configuration according to an open-closed concept, which allows the wheelhouse area and main deck to be rapidly transformed from a completely enclosed space to a fully open environment.
This is achieved through a combination of sliding glass panels, a louvred hardtop and fold-down side terraces. The cockpit is modular and can be configured with sofas and a table or as a large sundeck.
The living area features a classic layout with a galley and dining area. The wheelhouse, with a dashboard capable of accommodating up to three 16-inch displays, is flanked by the stairway leading below deck; at the bow is the owner’s cabin, complete with bathroom and shower. A second cabin is located aft. Furthermore, in the cockpit, beneath the sundeck, it is possible to create an additional double cabin.
There are three possible engine configurations for the Saxdor 460 GTC, all featuring Mercury engines: three 300 hp V8s, three 350 hp V10s, or three 425 hp V10s to reach speeds of up to 50 knots.
