What’s New at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show
Lightweight and spacious, the Loxo 40, which Pogo Structures is unveiling for the first time at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show, showcases an immediately unmistakable kinship with the sailing yachts for which the French shipyard is famous.
Featuring a hard-chined hull with a long waterline, the Loxo 40 (12.80 metres long by 3.75 metres wide) weighs just 4 tonnes. This is thanks to a vacuum infusion construction method and the use of foam sandwich panels and reinforced structures.
The overall layout also resembles that of a sailing yacht, with a large cockpit well sheltered by the glazed deckhouse. The helm station is on the port side and raised next to the cabin entrance. The foredeck is completely unobstructed.
The interior features a galley on the port side and a large dinette. On the starboard side is the helm station. Two double cabins and the convertible dinette provide six berths.
There are three engine options, ranging from 150 to 250 hp Yanmar sterndrives.
